Fauvism - Les Vauves 1905
Fauvism - Les Vauves 1905
An artistic trend that cares about simplifying the form and the pure, hot and contrasting color at the expense of the content. The Fauvism artists' style is glamorous, decorative and symbolic, with no moral, philosophical, or social considerations. Paul Gauguin1848-1903, is considered the spiritual father of the Fauvism movement. The most famous Fauvism artists are Henri Matisse, Marquet, Georges Rowe and André Derain.
