Vanishing Point
Vanishing Point
Represents the convergence point that is supposedly the furthest point from the viewer. A drawing in central perspective shows (one vanishing point), but in reality has two vanishing points that meet at the ends of a straight imaginary line called the horizon line.
The painting by Mandy Main, the American art historian and landscape painter, and the top right corner drawing are clear examples of the vanishing point and the perspective.
