Al-Milwiyeh Or The Great Spiral Tower of Sammara

The Great Tower/Minaret of Samarra is a ninth-century site located in Samarra, Iraq. This site was commissioned by the Abbasid caliph Al-Mutawakkil in 848 and completed in 851. The architect of this impressive tower was prominent Chaldean engineer Dalil Bin Yacob Al-Nasrani, his work was inspired by the Bible (Tower of Babylon),which also looks like the tower that was depicted on the circular tablet of Princess Enheduanna ( 2300 BC ). The Replica is made of Plaster and mixed media.
